(BTW: the editor/author is a little confused. AJAX isn't
a programming language. It's an acronym for Asynchronous
Javascript And XML, or some such; the general idea is to
allow a web page's scripting to update part of the webpage
without reloading/refreshing the entire page. As usual,
there are two implementations AJAX code has to look out
for (usually the problem is pushed neatly into a small
subroutine, which everyone calls) -- Microsoft and Mozilla.
There are also some deltas -- which the article correctly
calls out -- between the two browsers.)
