This is what a 'standard' is supposed to be, open, non-proprietary and
useable by any organisation or company that wants to use it for their own
purposes. The fact that Microsoft is beginning to take an interest
instead of focusing solely on their own non standard 'standard' document
format highlights ODF's advantages even more.
