Bandwidth of USB-2 is 480 Mb/sec roughly the equivalent of Firewire.
(400 Mb/sec).
The higher bandwidth is lost in negotiation between USB-2 and USB-1
devices.

There's also gigabit ethernet. And eSATA-II (3 gigabits/second).
