Well, I'd say that the vocal Linux users are enthusiastic about their
passion.  They are simply misunderstood and labeled as lunatics.  :(

There is an upside to this- they get attention for their cause.

It does look suspicious of LI to label a whole group of people "lunatics". 
Why would they insult their readership like that??  Nowadays, there are
plenty of average people who don't hack, use the CLI, etc. and simply use
Linux desktop with ease.  So, it does not make sense to call them lunatics.

If Roy feels that these people are too intense, then he has the right to
