Fedora-12-Release-Schedule-and-Goals-114542.shtml
Eliminating Mono crap from Fedora distribution is the best thing they could
have done in my opinion after micoshaft dropping Oracle support for their
proprietory version of Mono. It is an anti-trust issue. Mono and micoshaft
are one and the same thing and it will bring down who ever touches
it in the open source world because you will fall victim to micoshaft
plops scheming agaist you.
In any case, Linux, C, C++, and scripting and something like Gambas
in Linux is far far superior. Unlike micoshaft platforms, my first
ever gambas programs, C programs, and scripts all still work today.
That says a lot about open source in a completely different way
that mono can NEVER EVER hope to achieve.
