Good advice and it works wonders.
I knocked the high school bully unconscious by myself when I was 14.
We were out in a park near the school, early before school started. I had
come to school early to find him after he attacked me in company the
previous day, about a week after I started high school. I couldn't defend
myself against three people back then.
I knew if I did nothing, these idiots would feel they had my permission to
do the same thing again and again.
"qui tacet consentire videtur" He who keeps silent is assumed to consent;
So I decided to put a stop to it before it got out of hand.
I didn't think anyone knew I knocked him out, and I doubt he told anyone.
However after that, for several months all kinds of kids attacked him
(usually in groups, as he was pretty big) and beat him up.
Once a bully has been beaten, people are no longer scared of him, in fact
they seem to decide that they can also beat him.
I can't wait to see this happen to Microsoft, their enemies are legion.

indeed listen to. Trolls are not among those people, as trolls, more or
less by definition, *promote* ignorance.
