I installed this on my test machine Monday afternoon, and I predict that
existing KDE4 fans will love it. Very usable and attractive, plus I can
install Pan newsreader, which is not available in Pardus at present.
For me, KDE4 has been a love/hate relationship up to now, but I'm
definitely warming to it. Also, I notice Windows users prefer the
familiarity and first impressions are favourable.
Mint is well-known for providing a very good 'out of the box' support for
the things Windows users take for granted, and Mint install and other
tools are receiving very good comments from newcomers to Linux, here in
the UK.
Clem and the team are on to a winner here, I think.
