The folks that bring Bordeaux also bring improvements to Wine (well,
obviously). Personally, I'm more interested in Wine than I am in Bordeaux,
which would definitely serve many other people, regardless (and hopefully pay
the hard working developers).

Vista 7 is still incompatible with many games and applications. Those who wish
to run their older binaries will use Wine, increasingly. Virtualising XP is
like a joke -- and that's like the principal feature of the 'new' OS -- that
it runs an older one. Wine will serve an important function when large numbers
of people move over to another platform.
