The 'press' quotes US-only market share from paid Microsoft _partners_ like comScore. US
share for Microsoft (in the US alone) is like 3-4 times higher than the whole world (combined).
The same is done to lie about the market share of Linux on the desktop.
Microsoft CEO showed recently that Linux has more share than Apple _on the desktop_, *globally*.
