The power of perception (read: propaganda) has meant that companies like Microsoft, Apple
and Sun have managed to ridicule Linux, mostly in vain.
They even seem to have their minions infest forums such as this one.
They are fighting a losing battle. Now they just try to infect Linux with
traps like Mono and Moonlight, with the help of their part-time lackeys from Novell.
They also lobby for anti-Free software laws (software patents), even in the EU.
