It actually *is* ancient technology from 1990[s]. Microsoft did not make Windows modular, so
Windows Mobile is still that ugly old hack from the 90s. Android just takes the
latest Linux and pushes patches upstream.
Microsoft is still trying to mimic the modularity of the GNU and Linux systems.
