I'm sure there are some people out there (a niche) with more money than brain, but then again,
that's the same crowd which brings Mac OS X market share close to that of GNU/Linux.

Apple is a no-starter in the vast majority of the world (and class).

Apple will never have mass appeal in the board market, just a portion of it.
