Can Alex bring Linux to the masses?

| is that a newcomer to computing gets a laptop,
| a broadband connection, access to software on
| the Alex servers, and technical support - for
| a monthly fee of Â39.95 for two years.

| And at the heart of the project is Linux, or
| at least the Ubuntu variant of the open source
| operating system coupled with a desktop
| designed by Alex's own developers.
