MontaVista targets OMAP and MIPS SoCs with Android kit

Linux kernel port targets multi-core DSP SoCs

| In a typical desktop box, the proper
| Linux shutdown process will involve
| flushing disk caches, closing multiple
| files and un-mounting drives (local or
| networked). Depending on the use case,
| certain daemons or processes may wait for
| various operations to complete in order
| to proceed with the shutdown process.
