Thanks for posting these. It seems to irritate only those who violate the charter
and portray those who obey it as offenders/liars/spammers/thieves/etc.

The charter --like constitutions -- ensures that no level of entryism can derail
the newsgroup.

I recently looked at some other newsgroups out of curiosity. Once-thriving
newsgroups are now obsoletely dead (the webmasters one for instance) because
USENET servers become more scarce and other groups lose focus.

Microsoft is exiting USENET and let's hope the AstroTurfers leave along with it.
