Linux Uptime

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

When I installed Kubuntu 9.10 I could go on without a reboot for 6 months,
with about one exception (GPU crash in November). To upgrade to 10.04 I needed to reboot just once.
I haven't rebooted since and I don't expect to any time soon.

Linux has vulnerabilities sometimes, but rarely are they remotely exploitable (without
many open ports) and they can also be patched without rebooting.

Microsoft Munchkins will probably boast about Windows uptime, but at the very least they
must reboot every month and Windows can't even restore their session like KDE does.

If you want to get real work done, download GNU/Linux. It's free because many companies choose
to sponsor development. It's really /that/ good. They put their money on GNU/Linux, not Windows.
