You could probably get something for it on eBay.  The battery is still good
along with other salvageable parts (case, main board, etc).  For example, I
have a TE with a bad battery that some day I might replace.

I sold an old laptop on eBay that had various problems.  I was surprised
that someone paid $200 for it.  But when you think how much they would have
had to pay for the parts that were still good (e.g. the battery), I guess
that might be a bargain.  One man's trash is another man's treasure.
