[Disclaimer: I have searched the Web for a long while to to avail. I even
experimented without any success.]
I have a mobile Webcam that runs on batteries and comes from an obscure
Chinese manufacturer. I connect it to the USB port on a SuSE 8.2 machine (a
colleague of mine once mounted a USB drive on here, but I can't manage to
do so either). I do not need to use the camera as an proper Webcam.
Instead, I only wish to fetch the pictures it stores in its internal
memory. Am I missing a simple solution? The HOWTO's I came across never
seemed to get me closer to success.
