Ours has been quite flaky too, particularly in the past month. It can take a
lot of time to load some groups via localnews.mcc.ac.uk. What's more, I
often fail to send messages for 60 minutes. The issue has existed for
years, but thing exacerbated lately.
I sometimes have to ask I. (anonymised) at MC to bring up the server when it
crashes. It then takes days to catch up with the feeds, which can be
frustrating. It also fragments the threads.
