I had a look at it and it does look very drool-worthy. However, the
recent version requires wxwidgets 2.6.3, which hasn't been ported to
ubuntu yet. Additionally, save and export functions in the GPL version
of Xara don't work yet.

So this is something I'll try in a month or so, to see if anything has
changed.
