Re: Install and Run Windows Applications in Linux

Hi Roy,

I tried Lindows now Linspire, version 4 and 4.5.

When coping an Open Office 1.x file from Windows to Linspire,
using a fat32 partition to xfer the files, Linspire would UNZIP the
files. It was a complete blow up.

Then I got their VoIP router, which was not very expensive,
to use with my cable modem for a phone system

I plugged it in and it did not work.
Their tech guys could not fix it.
After 8 hours of playing with it,
I threw it away.

I will never buy from Linspire again.

I am now on Vonage with a free Linksys router,
and PCLinuxOS and SuSE and Ubuntu.
No issues.

Vonage worked out of the box.
