I was going to prepend a comment saying "it's a start". They already
preinstall Linux in some parts of the world, even on laptops. That lady once
said that they would keep looking at the market and wait to see if Linux has
demand elsewhere in the world (desktop, that is). It's happening. Dell
already do it, so HP have pressure to follow suit, or at least rely on
Dell's judgment.
