[being cynical:]
I suppose they could port Microsoft Office and Windows Media Player to Linux
(they have done this for Apple in the past) and include it in binary form on
their own distribution alone. They could go with the slogan "Better Linux
than Linux". That said, I believe this would violate the GPL, much as in the
case of a Compviz/XGL Live CD. So there are barriers...
