Actually, I am quote pleased with that algorithm, for a change *giggle*.
Perhaps it's worth excluding trolls from any rank that is favourable (e.g.
"quality posters" as opposed to "blacklist of quotes"). When I produce
statistics for the SuSE newsgroup, I manually remove trolls from all
categories. I even remove popular threads if they comes from a troll to
defame Linux. Echoing of trolls' names and messages gives them reasons to
return.
