I think that this is a solution (no matter how good) that is irrelevant at
this time.

Turbotax and others have been offering their online tax prep solutions for
quite some time now. I myself use that option. Purchasing a boxed set makes
no sense as you have to throw it away as soon as your taxes are done. Which
in turn makes the OS irrelevant (unless some moron codes the website to use
windows specific tricks).

Another case of a software becoming a service.

Yes, there is a cost issue (for anything more than a very simple return), so
maybe it would be better if folks at TaxGeek became a web-based service.
Won't be surprised if Google is already working on it :)
