oday was a very successful day because we put in our lawsuit (formal draft at this point) and have thus far heard nothing back from the firm that caused this problem. Tomorrow we go on holiday (none of this is critical to us, we’ll be back “in action” in September) and as noted earlier on it looks like the people who bully us are not doing too well (“Their papers and their envelopes became cheaper; they are budgeting their inventory in the office“). The papers associated with this lawsuit were sent yesterday by post to a law firm so sexist and insane that it can probably compel departing female workers (lots of that) to go on a stabbing binge/spree in Trafalgar or something.

I struggling to see why any women at all would still stay there. One client strangles women, another thinks stabbing is a joke.

I never chose to put myself in this situation, wherein my wife and I file 2 lawsuits in 2024, one lawsuit in 2025, and soon another one for this year.

Lawsuits are always like this. Or almost always. People who assume they’re entitled to something for ‘hurt feelings’ are often guilty of many things themselves. They tend to ignore what they did to “deserve” what they later complain of.

OMORROW we unofficially go on “holiday” or a weeks-long vacation, even if it is a stay-cation and most travel will be to places nearby. We don’t plan much shopping, windows “shopping” can be fun too.

A week after Rianne’s birthday it’ll be Bank Holiday, then we’ll be back to normal.

I plan not to check E-mail much. It’ll be as if I’m away somewhere in a distant island (like I was less than a decade ago).

With Rianne by my side, life is always a joy.

Keep it simple, stupid (KISS).

Being “offline” is not a state of misery but a sign of contentment.

It already seems abundantly revealing that some people squirm, realising they made have made a critical error – one they will pay a lot for.

Today we plan to stay home. I want to publish many articles. Soon, maybe as soon as next week, this blog will reach the 3,000 blog posts milestone. That will be newsworthy. This blog began in 2004, i.e. 22 years ago.

By midday today (UTC), after a long night’s sleep (10pm to 6am), I’ve caught up with global news and published over 30 new pages across 3 sites. I intend to keep up this pace and maybe increase it further.

Today we finally have much-needed rain, some of it heavy, so let’s hope that the grass outside (everywhere, not just our lawn) will get greener. The yellowing this year reminds me of the terrible drought we had in 2018 when many lawns died. I still remember the year due to that. Some have not recovered since.

In the news today

‘ve unfortunately had to deal a lot with bad, rogue, mentally-defective (by their own admission) people in recent years. Misogynists were among them. They think women are nothing. They believe they can strangle, drug, sexually abuse them and so on.

Misogynists are the sorts of things that stand in the way of societal progression (upwards, higher standards). Misogynists are an enemy of civil society.

consider Richard Stallman to be a sort of friend. It’s not like some person who lives next door and I play Chess with (or against). It’s someone with whom I share understanding and despite meeting him several times (in person, for chats and recording videos) I mostly converse with him over E-mail.

Richard Stallman has a behaviour many rightly regard as “different”. This is something that he openly acknowledges and deems to be involuntary.

History shows that some of the most brilliant people were “eccentric”, but their peers didn’t mind that and in some ways their eccentricity worked to their benefit.

People who blast Stallman over minor cues and micro’aggression’ are themselves a-holes. They say a lot about themselves, not about Stallman.

am not an accountant and I don’t pretend to be one. It seems to be like someone tries to duck obligations or delay them by several months.

ianne’s birthday is 3 weeks away and I am so happy that she is managing to find happiness not in wealth but in simple things. Health comes from good sleep and sleep requires a calm mind.
