T was 15 years ago when I first met Rianne. It was at a birthday party of a friend of hers and a friend of mine. We started chatting randomly and soon figured out we had a lot in common, including our Computer Science background.

A lot of time has passed since then and I do my best to be a good husband. This coming Saturday we’ll do something special but modest.

I should note that the reason Microsofters try to put me and my wife in prison [1-3] is because I did the right thing and protected my wife, whereas the Microsofters would just strangle women or worse.

omeone recently asked me about devoting money to Software Freedom causes so as to focus on what is right, what one is “meant” to do as it is better devoting one’s capacity/potential/knowledge/energy/experience/recognition to maximise public good. It makes perfect sense because life is finite and money does not go into one’s grave. It is meant to be used for something, not to be hoarded. Hoarding is in human’s nature and it is a weakness, nothing to be boastful about.

I am thankful and truly grateful for the fact that my life is rewarding and satisfying, with few exceptions here and there (not every moment is perfect). Vices and online additions are not necessary. Compared to peers and relatives, my life is good, it’s better than theirs. I am happier, freer (as in free will), healthier, and richer (except in monetary terms) than them. Some people I know became slaves to (or of) money – to the point of being willing to work from every morning until every night (maybe 60-80 hours a week) to make someone else or some large company richer. They seem to fail to grasp that those salaries are merely a form of compensation for them compromising their best years (of one’s life), plus abandoning the prospect/potential for self-determination while dragging down both physical and mental health (of most staff, most of the time). It’s a fast-corroding, slowly-progressing experience (corrosion is silent, not sudden) that over time shortens people’s lives. In my 40s I can still do a fullstack circuit” at the gym like I did my in 20s. I have hardly lost muscle mass/weight, only relative strength, and my stamina probably improved owing to regular jogging.

Ultra-capitalists dislike such ideas because they rely on intellectual people becoming their de facto slaves and brown-nosing management for pay increases and better job titles (the latter are merely symbolic rewards, a fake “status” nobody objectively cares about).

Safety and mental comfort (calm, zen) cannot be taken for granted either, more so in world full of conflicts and scarcities. To love and be loved is easier said than done, but that too is attainable. One must actively pursue it, not follow herds.

Birds are lovely, adorable animals. They’re enjoyable to feed or even just to look at. Birdwatching isn’t just some reactional activity of old generations (elderly people); anyone out there should be able to enjoy that and it doesn’t cost anything. Today we watched a wren hiding in the trees and singing. Later another bird walked towards our door, so we treated it while it was carefully watching no other bird noticed (or competed for the seeds).

But we don’t really want the birds inside the home, not just for sanitary reasons or damages. We seldom let them indoors, sometimes for shelter from horrible weather, sometimes by accident, and sometimes not (neither). The Sick Bird walked into our home once and it was – for a change – with full consent because she was vulnerable.

Birds are in general not domesticated and it would be cruel to put any kind of bird inside a cage. It’s not in their nature and massive cages in zoos are still cages. We need more wildlife, not zoos. As for pets, it depends on the animal.

That is relevant because, as an associate put it:

That serves to prove that Brett Wilson LLP lied to me and also about me many times. Lying to a Court about a person isn’t a trivial thing to do. It’s also legally risky.

I don’t want to comment much more at this stage, except note that now there is substantial proof of what we’ve said all along and got defamed for. How much will they spend to silence me?

The trip to Berlin was OK, but the flights and airports were not pleasant, with various delays among other issues.

will say frankly, and upfront, that the accusations aren’t baseless. I firmly believe that all the evidence exists and the facts are on my side.

Highly irresponsible thugs did something really horrible 10 days ago. I won’t be able to comment about it fully until the case is over and other sites have said a lot more earlier today [1, 2]. This blog post will focus on more personal aspects.

10 days ago I wrote to the Court: “It is Yom Kippur today. We will respond to you tomorrow. This is important because we must also add to the bundle about 50 PDFs which will show the need for Adjoining of Case Numbers KB-2024-003529 and KB-2024-001270.”

This is an important message and the timing of the message was not of our own choosing. It was also minutes after a terror attack on a local synagogue.

It matters a lot because our legal advisor is a Jewish man who lived near that synagogue, which they (Brett Wilson LLP) are fully aware of; he went on BBC to say people painted swastikas on his own home. Aside from it, it’s Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year to him, so they basically sent threatening letters to both my wife and I on the equivalent of Xmas Eve at 4:30PM, then a very large number of pages (PDFs to both of us) on the equivalent of 10AM Xmas Day when people are literally fasting for over 24 hours (no water either, so health too is at risk), having always shown mean intent and already attempted to book the Hearing for the equivalent of Boxing Day; they attempted this a long time beforehand, back in January 2025.

How could they not know? I’ll write about this in the future.

And perhaps unintentionally (a subject to be covered another day or year), they also did this type of thing also during a funeral.

They’re not just cruel, they’re reckless and extremely insensitive. We’ll treat this accordingly and report what they did based on the hard evidence.

The SRA will be informed fully of what they did.

Then again, consider the fact they represent alleged sympathisers of Hamas. One client, who commented about October 7 2023 only several days after the attack (as if he wasn’t too sure what to say or whether it was a bad thing), made a public statement tacitly justifying acts of terrorism as a route towards peace.

It is my honest opinion that Brett Wilson LLP is a highly antisemitic firm. I’ve already seen plenty of circumstantial evidence of this. This firm also attracts antisemitic clients.

As Rianne and I both explained [1, 2], over a year ago we filed lawsuits against the ‘Hulk Hogan of UEFI’, who had done truly horrible things to us and to many others. He promotes and works for monopoly. He defames people who work against monopoly.

Last year he hired aggressors in London (because he’s based in the US) to drown us with about 3,000 of pages of legal papers. They now try to force matters by doing what I deem to be borderline hate crimes; and if their client attends in person at some hearing, as security is of utmost importance to us, we must also request special security because he publicly boasts about wanting to hurt and even stab people he dislikes; he also did truly horrible things to my wife, she cannot be in the same room as him. It’s too much risk and his litigation partner (represented by the same lawyers and barrister) was already in prison for strangling women and worse. It’s really bad that journalists in the UK are treated so badly by Brett Wilson LLP’s American clients, who actually did truly horrible things (which I merely reported on).

At the end we’ll pursue reform in the UK; we cannot let the US (“No Kings”, except their President) abuse people in the UK like this.

T is not our intention to theorise, but where there is smoke there is usually a fire.

Today we decided to break the silence on this matter, having just reported this matter to the UK High Court.

Brett Wilson LLP did something truly evil to us and we intend to hold it accountable.

As it turns out, we’re not alone, as even clients of Brett Wilson LLP are suing Brett Wilson LLP (“The Lawsuit by Clients of Brett Wilson LLP Against Brett Wilson LLP is Officially On, It is Progressing, The ‘Experts’ Pick Outside Law Firms (RPC and Mills & Reeve) to Spare Them From Litigants in Person”).

Law firms live and die (or thrive/survive/perish) based on the reputation they earn for themselves.

The word “evil” may seem vague, sometimes subjective, but what happened last week isn’t unprecedented (it’s part of a pattern) and that it happened just minutes after a terror attack on a synagogue near to us must be documented. There’s a personal element to this story, so we’ll blog this in the personal site.

magine our surprise. So the ‘Hulk Hogan of UEFI’ decided to sic his dodgy lawyers at us at a seemingly ‘strategic’ time.

They are very toxic people who tacitly justify terrorism. We were reminded of this just minutes after the terror attack on a synagogue in Manchester, yet they persisted with threats and massive PDFs all day long (since the night before). How would they feel if we did this to them on Xmas Day and moreover on a Xmas Day when they can neither eat nor drink for 25 hours? Yes, it was the equivalent of this.

It would certainly appear like Brett Wilson LLP’s aim is to torture people 1) during the holiest of days (with fasting) and 2) right after terror attacks 2 miles from their home.

We’ll hold Brett Wilson LLP accountable for this.

Let me explain.

Today at the till I was served by the same lady whom I reported before, after she had stolen one pound from me (in change) THREE TIMES IN A ROW…

Not kidding.

I’ve been trying to avoid her since then and when reporting her I said the goal wasn’t to get her sacked but to stop the stealing (it’s impossible to get such basic maths wrong “by accident” three times in a row).

Today I could not avoid her. She just sat in place of a colleague when I was in a queue (taking a colleague’s seat)… and did it to me ONCE AGAIN the same short-changing (one pound; same as always) along with the same excuse, so again I had to wait there for a boss to “correct” the mistake, then stood there at Customer Service to report the person (who already did this to me and is still there… and still up to the same old things). My assumption is that she can short-change (one pound) about 10 people per shift and then pocket a tenner without the register detecting an anomaly. Maybe she tips herself (bonus) that way… but at whose expense and at what cost to the reputation of the business, the time/patience/composure of the customers and so on?

But wait, it gets worse.

At first Customer Service turned down my request to report this worker or their stealing, in effect covering up for her. They decided to say all the managers were “at the/a meeting” (which I doubted, it’s just a classic excuse and that shop has about 10 managers on duty). I persisted, persevered, and only after (several other) further arguments they magically found a manager who could come out and pick the report. He seemed a little junior for a manager, but let’s not be too judgemental of appearances. They then made an excuse for why a manager becomes available when the issue becomes more of a nuisance or a risk. Why lie to the customer? Never lie to the customers. Whether the customer is “always right” or not, do not lie.

This is really awful and I said that if they have staff stealing from the shop, that’s one thing, but don’t steal from the customers. Pay them better perhaps; one man next to me at the till had a good joke about how “they need to make money”. He didn’t doubt this was intentional; it kept happening. It will probably keep happening unless I can avoid this cashier every time in the future. But what about other people? They might think it’s an accident or not even notice.

Businesses being apathetic to staff that steals is a very big problem. I’ve already spent about an hour (all combined) dealing with and reporting this issue. They don’t compensate me for the time and trouble; heck, it doesn’t seem like they even do anything with my reports, so what’s the point reporting it to them? Maybe even an external entity would treat this issue as too “low-value” to merit proper investigations. This means people can get away with a lot of cheating (or petty thieving) as long as it’s not “big enough”.

In hindsight, it was always hard to get a hold of a boss to report these issues too. It was slow, cumbersome, almost impossible – maybe by design. Maybe Customer Service people even get trained in stonewalling people.

The world is becoming a cruel place, not just to staff but also to customers.
