think it’s fair to say that the Clacton by-election became a feeding frenzy for people who knew entering would guarantee much media attention.

People who don’t live in Clacton entered.

There were people whose entire platform was satirical.

Even some of the policies were, in effect, jokes.

Some local media moaned that Clacton election turned the town/area into a “circus” or an international laughing stock.

am a bit frustrated having had to deal with bad men who act in bad faith and think that women are objects to abuse. When men confront them about this, instead of listening to them they will attack these men, too.

Society is getting worse. We’re heading back to a sort of “macho” patriarchy and technology is the instrument by which some “powerful” men lead this agenda.
