They would probably be better off snatching a keyboard from an old computer.
It would also be cheaper to find some of the vintage types on eBay. See, for

I remember that 12-15 years ago, whenever a button on my keyboard 'died', I
pressed ALT and the right combination of keys on the num-pad.
