Like I said before, confusing committing with privileges is a mistake.
Mike has many other privileges, including my trust, respect, and very
prominent links everywhere. His contributions have always been
recognized. Commiting != contributing, ANYONE can contribute on the bug
tracker. Besides, wouldn't more people commiting code directly cause
more problems like the ones people are pointing out now, action being
taken in the core without discussion?
Get you act together, priests, and open up discussion with _impact_. IRC
transcripts? Does anybody expect proficient coders to read
transcripts?!?! Or
even join IRC channels? I haven't been using IRC since I was 16.
Open source collaboration is always going to be multi-modal. If you're
unwilling to compromise like everyone else, please don't complain.
