That's obviously a reference to the line "bring out the gimp" in the
movie "Pulp
Fiction".
I was told *exactly* that in UseNet when I said that the name GIMP sounds
unprofessional. I am glad it is not pronounced 'jimp'. Vocally, it's almost an
homonym of 'chimp'. GreaseMonkey, anyone?
