The assertion is hardly a concern here. Neither are the 'royalties'. It's FUD. It's like the SCO sockpuppet, which could go as far as delaying a city's migration to Linux. If it doesn't make Novell look weak, it sure hurts Red Hat's reputation. It may be good (short-term) for Novell, but it's dreadful for the community as a whole.
