You can try a warm reset. And sometimes it'll work.
But the IR transmission between the Tungsten E and other PalmOne devices
is wonky. And there doesn't seem to be a fix for it, or an official
acknowledgement from PalmOne that it is a problem.
Funny thing is, the IR on my T|E works fine for controlling my TV.
