Matlab R13 crashed after I add memory from 512MB to 1GB

Hi, guys:

  I am using Matlab R13, I try to add my memory from 512MB to 1GB,
however, I could not start Matlab at all. It crashed. I was wondering
if anybody would do me a favor to give me a solution?
