Thanks for the reassurance - often you ask one of these questions
after searching for ages and it's in the most obvious place :o)

I had a problem with Firefox 1.0 yesterday (I'm running Win2K if it's
relevant) where it would open up then crash immediately even on my
homepage (google.co.uk) and give me a message suggesting that
something was being written to an error log. I was trying to find
where that was to see what the problem might have been. It seems to
have resolved itself today but it would be useful to have a peek anway
(and for future reference).
