If you move messages into an IMAP folder and expect them to remain there,
you ask KMail to send a message to your server or re-direct it to the
server. I don't think mail clients have that capability so you might have
to create a virtual IMAP (local) folder and merge it at some stage by
moving all messages from IMAP to the local folder. You can also copy all
incoming messages from IMAP to a local folder automatically.
