You can get a rough estimate of domain extent by looking at the total number
of (indexed) pages.

One way of doing this in Google:

site:http://yahoo.com

'plug in' the appropriate domain and see the number of results. Yahoo and
MSN accept the same type of syntax. I have just checked this.

Another way, which relies on Google cache:

http://www.yourcache.com/

Put your domain in the box, run a check and view the number of pages.
