Have you even tried to install SUSE 10.1 Alpha 3? When you get to the
selection of what to install you get (as with 10.0)
O KDE
O Gnome
O Other
So it is up to you to select KDE, Gnome or Other as NONE are selected by
default. If for one reason or another more people use Gnome then KDE,
then that is due to the fact that they either are complete idiots and
did not know that the selction did not install KDE, or they wanted to
install Gnome.
So please stop telling that Gnome is the default WM on SUSE if that is
clearly NOT the case. Verify for yourself if you think I am badly
informed.
(It did not recognise my mouse during installation, but that is probably
a bug and has nothing to do with either Gnome or KDE)
