They don't need to be "innovative". XP still sells lots of copies.
It's mere *inertia* that keeps it selling.
Linux has very real advantages, cost and otherwise. My guess is that
Gate$ is "playing dumb"...that is, he can see what's coming, but as long
as the general public is stupid enough to keep buying XP -- why should
he stop selling them copies of it?
