The beat goes on indeed, but sometimes the hassle of upgrading will consume
more time and effort than it may save in the long run. I installed SuSE 9.3
on a new machine last week, but SuSE 8.2 is here to stay for at least
another year. So far, having customised it sufficiently, I find it a little
more stable than 9.3. It is also comfortable to work with, but only due to
/habits/, I must emphasise.
