Good point, Chris.

Defrag...
Scandisk...
All these things that regular Windows user take for granted, assuming they
are a necessary evil in computing. Meanwhile, some people get some real work
done. If only fewer people were blinded or 'zombified' by this illusion that
computers involve regular maintenance chores... even if automated in Windows
Vista, which few are likely to embrace any time soon, it is a matter of
mending wounds that were never intended to be there in the first place. It's
like earning a high wage in order to be able afford buggy commercial
software you do not need. Something better is already out there and it's
free (and Free). I hope the anaology here makes sense... the ability to
balance an imbalanced situation rather than settle for an ever-lasting
equilibrium.
