It would take a true Janus to, with one face, dismiss the IDC and Gartner
studies favoring Vista as paid for by Microsoft and, with the other, embrace
the words of this writer. As the sidebar relates: "Sam Varghese is a
journalist who has flirted with tech on and off. After his first experiments
with Linux began in 1998, he began using the Debian distribution as a
single-boot system for his personal use." Sam is thus relatively
unsophisticate but also not much of an unbiased view.
Commercial business users of Linux are comforted by the knowledge that
Novell, at least, has elected to integrate Linux with the rest of the
computing mainstream, although to the obvious chagrin of the OSS purists who
cannot see beyond this obvious sleeping with the enemy and understand the
long term benefits of this compatibility opportunity.

This is a childish attempt at humor at best and is definitely not [News] as
claimed.
