ODF was already in StarOffice, I set it as my default format, unfortunately
still have to save a copy for MS Office users if it is something I need to
share at work. But our time will come.

I wouldn't be without my StarOffice, OO is good and users of it can be happy
in their knowledge that it is almost as good as SO, its only that SO just
has the edge in a few areas that are particularly relevant to me, mainly in
database linkage.
