"This makes sense for all kinds of reasons, but the most important is
that the current generation of 'server farms' which power Google,
Amazon, eBay, and so on are financially and environmentally
unsustainable. Enormous sheds filled with thousands of servers consume
too much power, and the only solution is to reduce the number of
physical machines."

I can't even bother to click on this link because the author obviously
has no idea what he is talking about. The server farms that Google
runs are probably close to the most efficient way of doing what they
need.

I am also disappointed because there are hundreds if not thousands of
reason to shun Vista, authors don't need to "make up" reasons as well.
