Yes.

Not necessarily. Some fields may remain empty. Also bear in mind that non-IE
browsers are under-estimated/-represented in such surveys due to agent
masking/forging/omission. Some switchers are available for Fox and Konquie.
Some versions of Opera behave this way 'out of the box'. Open Source/closed
source differences also mean that MSIE will always struct its stuff
(identity) to maximise figures, for admiration. This gives a sense of
dominance when others are forced to pretend to be MSIE. It confuses Web
developers, who may wrongly perceive MSIE as that which /supersedes/ Web
standards.

This feature has become a necessity due to ignorance. This will correct
itself over time as people have the guts to complain in large volumes.
Drivers for hardware and software ports likewise.
