Windows will be making a comeback in /18 months/? What planet are these
people on? Linux was started around 1991, the GNU project was started
back in 1983 - 23 years ago! I can't see Windows having any realistic
chance of a comeback, to be honest.

Well, so long as we know who the OEMs are, we know who to avoid, I
suppose. The last thing the whole /planet/ would like to see is some
idiot trying to use Windows as a security device. I cannot imagine
anything more stupid. Even our wintrolls here don't argue for that,
and they're about as rabid in their support for anything pro-MS as you're
likely to ever come across.
These guys have /really/ lost it.

Hahahahah! That's funny. MS are just going to bang off a few
supercomputers this year, and replace lamp stacks all over the web?
This is insane. The only way MS are able to dent the netcraft figures
is by _paying_ hosting companies to park their /unused/ domains on Windows
machines.
