Travelling is very cheap (at the moment...), and English Heritage and
the National Trust do a fantastic job of presenting history in a very
accessible way.

They've been really hooked on Dr Who. Prior to this, their /main/
involvemnet had been the Dalek skin in legacy doom :-) and some of the
older episodes. Genesis of the Daleks being one of the best. The Dalek
vs Cybermen thing is almost straight out of 2000AD... My only issue is
that I find the romance scenes a bit long and tedious, but modern
writers seem unable to write anything /without/ the girlie moments, so I
think we're stuck with that for now.
