That a nice little review <
http://www.softwareinreview.com/cms/content/view/44/1/ >,
which is just one among thousands if Ubuntu reviews that
have flooded the Web owing to user satisfaction and desire
to given something in return (as well as prevalanece of free
blogging services and software).
Many would argue that Ubuntu is not the best and most
reliable distribution out there (some would name the
commercial Xandros, Linspire and SLED as better contenders),
but it only comes to show that little can go wrong and there
is choice. Not the choice between DIY and mint/commerial
'out of the box'. Rather, it's the choice between perfectly
operational desktop distributions... different desktop
environments, different nationalities, support contracts,
and suitability for purpose (e.g. technical
versussimplified).
