I used to. Had both for over 3 years. Laptop since I was 17 and Palm since I
was 20. The laptop was more of a pain as I had to lug it around from place
to place (the early days) or never move it from the desk at all (later
days). That's when I decided to get a modern desktop, which would replace
it. The only mistake I made was that I did not do this *MUCH* sooner. I do
everything on the go using the PDA, whereas properly-equipped desktops
handle the rest.
You might find my past writings about it helpful. For a decision to be made,
I find it useful when I tune in to other people's opinions (particularly
those whose interests and preferences intersect with mine).
