Microsoft have approached dangerous territories. Their funnelling of money
into SCO is being monitored by IBM and some legislators. All of this is hard
to prove (under-the-table business), but IBM have requested a subpoena that
would enable them to expose the Microsoft-SCO (monetary) relationships. More
people are becoming aware of these truths, which are damaging to PR and are
purposeless, as "desperate cards" are used at this stage. The rise of the
bloggers ('Open Source journalism') changes the terrain, too (open,
unmonitored criticism).
