Have  you got POP3 (or IMAP, or whatever) access to your GMail account? In
other  words,  can  you download your mail to your computer?  Not  knowing
GMail  too  well, I am not sure if they make this possible (Yahoo made  it
possible  several years ago). If so, get a mail client (i.e.  desktop-side
application)  such  as Mozilla Thunderbird and set your Palm's conduit  to
synchronise  mail with that application. Then, a Palm O/S application such
as  Palm  Mail or VersaMail will be able to pick these up and keep  things
aligned whenever you HotSync.
